There's a fungus among us. Lil'er E is normally a happy baby, but has not been the last few days. We've got medicine, and he is already feeling better, eating better, and acting more content. Now its time for us to try and get some sleep.
As a side-note, I especially appreciate the comic's subtle reference to Edvard Munch's Scream (pictured right) in the father's face. Ugh. I hope things get back to normal for you all soon....and that you start to get LOTS and LOTS of sleep.
Could you post a definition of sleep? I think I've forgotten what that is...
(Actually, my smallest person slept incredibly well last night. Hopefully, it's a sign of things to come.)
Sleep (of sorts) is hopeful, now. Mrs. E said that this morning Lil'er E woke up happy, as opposed to screaming, for the first time in days. And he slept for about five straight hours last night! I guess the medicine is a big relief on his poor little mouth.
Poor little guy! I just said a prayer for him (and you guys!).
