Werehavingababyanditsa . . .

face frontWe went in for another ultrasound today. As mentioned previously, it was all done for free (still, sweet!). To the left is a picture of Baby Euphrony at 17-weeks, with a frontal view of the face. What a beaut!

Once again, we got the nice pictures and spent a little extra time letting them practice. It was actually a lot more hustle and bustle than last time (being a weekday rather than a Saturday). We were a little more hurried ourselves (Curses to Sonic for never getting us our lunch! A pox upon their skate-clad feet!) and getting there turned into an
adventure of it's own right. But, this time, we got more then one picture. (The picture to the left is a profile view of the face and abdomen.) They even checked us out one two different machines, one a little fancier, to let the class get some hands-on work on both. They even asked me if I wanted to volunteer to hope on the table myself (I won't mention what it was they talked about checking out for practice - I was a little shell-shocked to answer at the time).

So, by this point, you are probably wondering if we found out the gender of Baby Euphrony. Well, they told us they though they could see on the less fancy machine, but didn't want to say anything because it wasn't that clear. However, when they moved to the bell-and-whistles ultrasound, it all became quite clear. This little exhibitionist was giving them a "full moon" and we got a picture of that, too. So, we asked, and they said "Congratulations, you're having a BOY!"

Brody,
We're due March 6th. It'll be our second child. Our girl is three, going on thirty-three, and is trying to convince us that we're wrong, that she's going to have a little sister.

She'll get used to it.

When are ya'll due?

We are due November 12th. Our 3rd boy. Our oldest is 4 and 2nd will be 2 in Jan. All we need to do now is pad the walls and up the insurance.

Brody, I don't know if I should say congrats, start a collection to the insurance boost, or just plain pray. Three boys under five. Although, we have some friends here how have twin boys at 18-months and a newborn boy, and they seem to be surviving - so far. Finish your road trip and get home to that wife and family.

I can't believe I'm just now getting over here and I'm so glad I scrolled down to read this post! Congratulations!!

Our first was a boy (he'll be 7 on October 22) and when I was pregnant with our second I just knew we were going to have another boy since there are so many boys on my husband’s side. But, we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was a girl. My daughter turned 4 on June 19.

It's so wonderful having them - they are both so different. He's so "busy" all the time - jumping from the couch to the chair with a sword and cape. While my daughter is so quietly playing with her babies and her dress-ups until the caped crusader with a sword jumps into the mix and then the screaming begins. She's also VERY dramatic and sensitive. My son is not that way at all.

Oh, such fun. I believe having children just gives us a glimpse into how much God loves us. I’m continually amazed.
