In Stores Now . . .

Today is release day for Addison Road's new release, Addison Road. You may remember that I recently reviewed the album - one which I have enjoyed listening to over the last few months. Their first single, "All That Matters", is already at #3 on Radio and Records Christian CHR chart, so not too shabby a start for these guys. Right now you can buy the whole album on iTunes for just $7.99 - not a bad deal. (Also their lead singer, Jenny, has taken an interest in our work over on Inspired to Action - thanks, Jenny!)

Another new release today is from Laura Story, with her new album Great God Who Saves. She's been writing and recording music for several years, but this is her debut on INO Records. The first single, "Mighty to Save", is already charting on both the AC and Soft AC/Inspo lists at R&R. I'll be reviewing her album later this week, but as a preview I'll say that her music is worshipful and honest. Oh, by the way, you probably are already familiar with some of her writing - can you figure out what before I tell you in the review? Stay tuned for more of Laura's Story. (Okay, okay, please forgive the play on her name. I just had to do it once.)

I know! I know! Am I supposed to say or let others?

I didn't realize that her CD was out now..I'll have to check it out.

Give it a little while. If no one guesses, then I'll let you let the cat out of the bag.

I don't know, but I suspect that her CD may also be out for $7.99 on iTunes. I can't check at work (iTunes is blocked), but quite a few other INO recent releases are.

I'll listen to the album, but I wonder if can I ever be a fan of a Hillary Clinton fan for whom thinking about how airplanes stay up and about dinosaurs can lead to a headache. I shouldn't have read the blog before listening to the music. The respect factor plummeted before I had heard a single tune.

Oh, the cd is on yahoo music for free listening to subscribers. If it is on yahoo music then I'm sure it's on itunes.

Do you know about the AP connection?

Stephen, I did know about the AP connection. Reading the liner notes for Appendix A, her name is all over the place. Maybe the first I heard of her. I also know about the Siler's Bald connection :)

MB - sorry the blog turned you off before you got to listen. Remember, most people get headaches thinking about things us engineers have done!

I'd forgotten that she was on Appendix A.

Yeah, the AP connection came through Siler's Bald and the first couple Behold the Lamb of God tours.

I didn't even realize she had been in Siler's Bald until more recently. I picked them up when then released Real Life, and by that time she had left the band.

By the way, Amy, you can let the cat out now, if you want.

She went to college with my sister. I saw her when she was with Silar's Bald many eons ago.

She wrote "Indescribable' the song Tomlin made famous.
